hell no! my buddy kept after me to get my truck right so we could get it lower. He wants me to bag it like his blk 95 ranger. his f150 is static dropped. I am sticking static with mine. Need to figure out how to do the back end now.

:yt: ....BAG IT!

Put the Cab on the Frame this last weekend. I DUMPED the Bags for the first time to see how LO it'd sit.... :D
Ride height will be 3-1/2 inches higher.
Image

Kinda hard 2 tell, but the Frame is ON the Ground  ...Looks like the front Bumper will be too!

Image

Hope I didn't go TOO Lo!?...If there is such a thing?! :hmm: ...Wondering if I'm gonna have to swap out the 2" dropped spindles? ...We'll wait & see!

Image

Still got Lots left 2 do.
:woohoo: !!! !!! :D !!! :? !!!

No, it's the same color as the body. :hmm: The chassis is Powder Coated Semi Gloss Black. The pics don't show it well, cuz it's a bit dark under there. It's a product like Rhino Coat that we tinted with the actual Body Paint color.

Image

We used it as undercoat: shot it on all the underside, (up to the lower seam on the firewall).
Also shot everything IN the cab (that doesn't show) as another layer of sound deadener. :shh: ...Next comes the Dynamat.

Image

Ultimately It'll be used on all the undercarriage, the Inside of the doors, the wheel wells & (with a heavier texture) as a Bed Liner.
....Sounds like a lot, but all that will show is INSIDE the Bed.....'Cuz as u noticed, it's gonna be kinda tough to see anything UNDER the truck!

Hey Tim! Great to hear from ya. Hope You & Yours are all well also. Thanks for the encouragement. The Truck's progress has been slow but steady lately. Trying to nickel & dime it over the finish line. It's still gonna be a while, but I must admit I'm getting kinda excited! & I'm likin' the way the old P.O.S is coming out.

....Yeah, whadda they say?...."If it's too low, you're TOO OLD!.....(I just hope I can get it out of my DRIVEWAY!!) :shh:

Pearl posted some pics of your '68...Looking pretty HOT!! ...While I've been slackin', you've been wrenchin'!
Keep in touch buddy & good luck in school!
