460 crew on this one also.

Cross over steering is basically the drag link runs from the pitman on the drivers side to the pass side knuckle.

Pics #5 and #7 in my fordification gallery in the link below are of the crossover setup on my 70 crewcab. I Have more pics if you need. It's a pretty simple modification and makes it so you can have dual mounted shocks on both sides.

460crew, How come you didn't mount the tie rod above the springs? For the jeeps we used the tierods that had the eye for the drag link in it about a foot off the pass side.

Greg if I was to have lifted it more than the skyjacker 4in then I prob would have brought it over the top but as it sits now it wold come into contact with the crossmember if you hit a good bump. Belive it or not I had the 8ft camper on the crew for a while and someone ran me off the road and over a 3ft berm that sent the truck about a 2ft off the ground at all 4 tires at about 50mph and when it came down it bottomed out my front springs past the 3in poly bumpstops and slightly bent my new draglink. So for anything else running over the springs I'm a little hesitant till it has a little more lift with coilovers.

OK, question answered.

Did you pinch a hole in the seat when you went for that wild ride? :D

I might have left some skid marks and they weren't on the asphalt.
