my 67 f250 has a new sound

Post by SteveC »

Like stated above my truck has a new muffler and it sounds TONS better than the rusted out burnt out glass pack

i put a thrush welded muffler on it and some how managed to not have to rerun all the piping exiting the muffler

Sounds good. If I get time, I'm going to try and get some work done on my bump this summer.

thanks i really like it like i stated before it sounds WAY better. My wife says she can't hear my truck as much when i come home even with the tv and window A/C on(use to be able to hear Clearly over both lol).

.... the only complaint i really have is the sound that it makes between 1600-1900 rpm in 3 gear(close to cruise around town range)... its very off tone?? (drone maybe) but as soon as i pick up the rpm just a bit it quits.

thanks i like the sound of it a lot. It set me back about 40 for the muffler and around 25 for the spare misc connectors ,extra length pipe, and adapters
