Oil pan

Post by OldRedFord »

Do our trucks run front or rear sump pans factory, in 2 wheel drive trucks?

Asking before I drop my 460 in...right now I can go either way.

If you're going 460, then you'll want the 460 van oil pan out of, I believe late '70's early 80's 460 Econoline.

Rear sump. Oil changes are easier and you have more clearance.
