Leaking on the seam

Post by cablewarf »

Hi, new here just got ahold of a 1969 f100 4.9 300.. This is a great forum you guys have got going. :fr: I have a question about my radiator leaking on a seam. Would i be better off trying to repair this leak or going for a new radiator. How hard is it to repair a small leak? do they make a product that can patch this area? thanks for the help

it is soldered together. if you have some solder try soldering it. nothing else will hold worht a blank. it can be repaired by a shop too if you don't want to. gettign a new one is an option but i would have it checked out before just buying a new one right off of the bat.
