35 INCH TIRES

will 35 inch tall tires fit on the front of a 2x4 1970 f250 with 4 inch lift?the only problem that i cans see is that they might rub on the frame when i turn. anyone know first hand?

I'm thinking there isn't going to be enough room for the rubber in the wheelwell opening. My stock height Hiboy fits 33" tires alright but I would need more lift for 35"ers.
I think heep70 runs 35" on his truck. you might see what lift he has.

They will fit, but will rub if you articulate the truck to much or add to much weight in the back. Take it to a tire shop and have them do a test fit. As far as frame rub you should be just fine.

I run 33". I can't run 35" because I haul wood with it.

I have a skyjacker 4in lift and run 35's and they have rubbed the fenders every time I go offroading. Then again I'm not easy on it. On a 2wd stock you can fit 31's so with a 4in lift I'd say easily 33's and 35's if it was staying primarily on the road but might rub offroad on some of your body when turning and compressed. You could also call up Autofab in California the guy there is way cool and I'm sure he'd tell you exactly what you'd need for lift to fit what you want under your truck and be functional.

a guy at my work runs a highboy with 35's but he has massive stabilizer bars and never off roads it

Buy a cordless sawzall and carry it with you. Just whack off anything that rubs the tires.
