1965 f100 suspension

Post by crampton1998 »

I have a 1965 f100 that I am interested in putting some state of the art suspension under. Is their a good "kit" on the market or will I need to swap frames and suspension from a newer model vehicle and if so what will work?

you can get a disc swap from a 73-79 truck. its just the ibeam spindles and maybe the radius arms if you want the stamped steel type of radius arms. if not you can use the old ones from your truck. some day they will be making hover conversions for these things. where are you doc brown?

Go over to FordTruk.com, devoted to 61 - 66 Ford pickups. Quite a few over there are using the Dakota front end conversion by Industrial Chassis in Phoenix, and some using the big ford car units. Join the rest of us crossovers.

There are a few quality kits out there depending on your budget and fab skills, here are a few Ive installed for customers with great success.

Ive also used c4 corvette, camaro, volare,LTD,even pacers over the years and the c4 vette was best bang for the buck.
