at a glance it doesn't look any thicker. it looks like they eliminated the pcket at the front (which is a pain to clean and coat)

Totally works for me, cant say I haven't used the term myself.
I was merely commenting because I liked the term.

The F100 frame is .171" thick (app. 7-gauge steel) whereas the F250 frame is .200" thick (app. 5-gauge steel). (NOTE: These are my own measurements with a micrometer in several spots along the frame length.)

I like heavy dutyness, but I think duty rating is the correct term.
