Will the front crossmember lay flat on the ground aired out?

Are you going to gusset your lower link bars?

yes the whole thing will lay flat on the ground aired out.


no, we won't be gusseting under the bars even though everyone seems to think it's needed. Those brackets will spread the weight over the bar enough they won't bend. 1.25 1/4 wall dom isn't going to go anywhere

Marz, the reason we aren't gusseting the bars is just because the bags are so far back on the bars, it really doesn't need it. If the bars were 36 inches long or whatever it may be, and the bag was dead center.....we would definitely gusset it for safety more than anything.

low budget? haha I wish. Maybe compared to some. I have 2500 or so in that truck and it still looks like a pile of crap haha. The toyota is the same way . ~6600 bucks and doesn't even have a single color primer job or carpet LOL

no, the bump won't lay frame and right now im contemplating just throwin some wheels/tires on it, some gauges in it and workin on the metal while my dad drives it. I can do the crossmember anytime I want, but it needs to have some miles put on it or that motor is gunna go to waste.
