Today I am doing a 302 to a 360 engine engine swap. I have a couple of questions if you all do not mind ?
First question is, I have the 360 /390 perches installed in what appears to be dedicated mounting holes Is that a correct
statement ?
Second question is, This is a LWB with T-18 trans. Will i have to relocate the trans crossmember and will my 2 piece driveshaft still work ?

you really need the small block perches. the small block perches are supposed to be in the front holes o fthe crossmember. the trans crossover can be redrilled into the frame it is in the wrong place when you are done. what trans did it have in it before you started this swap?

When i put the 360 perches in i was told i would have to notch the perch at the power steering box
due to the fact that i have a ford gear box.

if you are putting a fe in with fe perches and they are the old manual type perches then you can cut the corner off if you are going with a saginaw box. it really isnt the right thing to do. but it can be done. tha trans crossmeember should be fine if you aren't swapping the transmission.

My 72 has about 3 pairs of holes in the frame for the transmission crossmember from the factory, so if you do have to move it it should not be a problem, however you should not have to move it.
