that is one crazy invention that maybe was ahead of it's time. I though it was cool too that they where comparing the motor to horses for work or transportation! What a different era.

On the flip side the whole time I was thinking, The poor soul that falls off onto that drum proabably wouldn't want to live to tell about it. Even getting off, a slip could prove horrific!

That thing is pretty cool. It seems to be all over the net in the last few days. This is the third link I have seen to that video.

That was the coolest thing I've seen in a long time...

Makes ya wonder why we haven't seen them produced on a large scale...
Even with the obvious safety issue of having the auger things exposed, which could have been easily fixed with attachable fenders...
I can think of hundreds of applications where the Fordson Motor would have been the better technology.
I'm sure that someone bought the patent so they wouldn't be mass produced...

I bet that it would have made a great mudder too... :D

Sweet. That thing is awesome....I agree, why have we not seen these things working across the nation? Man, the applications are unlimited.

Good post! Thanks.

this thing is pretty freakin' sweet. I've got a project bump that I haven't started yet. Maybe this could be a cool mod?

BTW that russian one with the resident evil music...super creepy.
