We went with a Magnaflow muffler. Sam at Pomona Gear did the work. Here are a few before and after pic's.

The 1st and biggest reason is it's a 4 wd, there is precious little room on the left side. The speedo cable has all ready been melted, so far finding a ready made replacement nothing.michael69 wrote:Why did you go back with single exhaust? I was just wondering

My old duals are leaking at the manifolds, just like yours were. Nothing too major just a slight tick. My dad says he cant hear it, but if you drive the truck often like I do, you can hear it.Wes wrote:The 1st and biggest reason is it's a 4 wd, there is precious little room on the left side. The 2nd reason single Y pipe doesn't rotate at manifolds. The poorly made and hung duals did, caused 2 exhaust leaks, and I believe was the major contributor to the old motors burned valves.
If this had been a 2 wd I would have gone duals with a cross over and many well placed hangers
