If I had another truck this is something I would like to try on it. This was my first design but scraped it for the one im working on now.
Mabe once I finish the other setup I can try this.
Any fabricators out there that would like to build this?

i cant reply much on that cool looking setup you got there and you are up on this lowering stuff as much as anybody, but i been thinking on taking some djm beams and just dropping them a little more
just taking them to the local fab shop and cut the factory drop out and replace it with a bigger drop? whats wrong with it?

Cutting some djm beams is doable just make sure to add some plates to reinforce the area were it's cut.
You will aslo need to get some longer tie rod end extenders.
Post some pics if you do go with it.
I've been pondering something similar to that but I just never seem to have time to do anything with it.
What year Ranchero spindle were you thinking?? I was thinking of a torino (possibly the same thing?)
I've got a rolling shortbed frame - maybe with the warmer weather this weekend I can get it inside and stripped to start playing with .......

i think there is some room to play with the tie rods. i have 2 rings cut out of my springs right now with no problem with the tie rods. camber is another story.

That's good but once you go past a certain piont you will need the extenders to eliminate the bump steer.
