Ok all, got a good one for ya. I rebuilt my ps pump about 4 months ago. It went out again about 2 months ago and I just left it with "armstrong" steering. NOW, it works when it wants to. On one corner it might and the next, maybe not. Fluid level is good. Any ideas .
have you checked the belt tension? other than that???????

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

I remember having that very problem in my 76 with 360. I believe it had something to do with the seals inside the pump swelling up. Someone added brake fluid to the pump! It also caused it to whine a bit. I got a replacement from a scrap yard and it works beautiful. matter of fact i'm swapping it into my 72.
