The truck that made me love bumpsides.

Post by Chaseman »

This truck is from my childhood and is John Woody's truck a friend of my dad's. My dad and John Woody built the truck , my dad often borrowed the truck for camping , pulling boat, etc. (Way back when) 1971 (I think) F-250 Truck originally was a 2 wheel drive . LS Dana 60 rear , HD disk dana 44 , 390 , NP435 , NP205 ,36" Super Swampers ,4.11 gears . This video is my dad pulling some dude with a Toyota out of the sand in Gold Beach Oregon back in 1994.

Also the guy filming a cousin of my dad had never been near a camera let alone use one. The camera is a Old GE VHS my Mom and Dad bought I think around 1990. I though I should get some footage off those slowly degrading tapes.

Nice ol truck. I see why it would spark a case of bumpaholism! Now you're addicted to bumps.

You gotta know that whoever that was in the Toyota is still telling the story of the giant, super capable man's truck with the condominium in the bed, pulling him out.

A good memory for all 3 of you.
