I would like to know how do I tell wether my truck, a 67 F-100 with a 352 is a super cooled or non super cooled for choosing a rad support. Any replies will be greatfull and helpful.
Thank You
I haven't heard of there being such a specification for these trucks - where did you hear of there being a super cooled /non supercooled radiator - if its on a website or something somewhere, let us know where so we can see...

Sorry...didn't see the rest of that post where they were talking about that. But it sounds like the main difference is the size of the opening. What are the measurements on your radiator? From looking at the pictures on that post, mine on my 69 F-250 looks exactly like the attached photo of the supercooled mount. My radiator core size is about 19" tall and 26" wide. Measure your core size...if it is smaller than that then you have a the non-super cooled.

yeah, the f100s with the six cylinders list a different, smaller radiator, which is probably what non-super cooled is...its something like an 18x23 core...if you have an FE, chances are your radiator is something in the range of 19.5 x 26.5..and therefore super-cooled...that is what makes the most sense to me..anyone else correct me if I am wrong...

From what I have seen and understand the openings are different sizes and also from what I have seen the radiator hole and metal area around the opening look different. I don't have the measurements in front of me but I can show you a picture of what I would call the 4x4 and the 4x2 with super cooling (note the wide metal with the rounded edge towards the top) http://fordification.com/forum/download ... er=user_id
