That is a broad request. Here is what I would do to have a little grunt and retain good daily driving.
Asumptions: 9 to 1 comp--heads in good shape--minimum 350 rear gear-- auto or man trans--power brakes.
dual plane 4 brl, manifold 0 to 5500 rpm
approx 600 cfm vaccum secondaru carb( holly ro carter)
hydraulic cam with no more than 270* advertised duration and about 220 to 225* at 50-- and springs
Good timing chain, roller chain maybe
headers--nothing fancy
Pertronics or similar ignition to replace points in your stoch distributor
new oil pump, stock type
