Hiya everyone.
Hi everyone. I love this site. I wish I would have found it sooner. I own a 1970 f-100. I was hoping to get running before I left for Iraq but that didn't happen so now I'm making planes for when I return home. It currently has a 360/c-6 set up but the motor is blown and I have no idea on the tranny. I'm thinking of getting either a 390 or 410 crank and building the block up. Im also going to do a disk job on the front end. as well as many other plans. I'm looking to pull some other cars around to shows. Ive been looking at a '59 t-bird that has been sitting in the local junk yard. any suggestions on any other mods that I might have missed?

Re: Hiya everyone.
WElcome from Virginia. We'd be glad to see your progress when you get home and start. This is a great site. A great mod in my opinion is a 78/9 tilt column. The installation is a breeze, and it is great to have tilt on long trips. The hardest thing to install a tilt is a trim panel to match up to the dash. I modified a trim from an 84 f150 and love the look. Hope you get home safely soon and can start. Always remember .

Re: Hiya everyone.
headlight harness is a must, a optional one would be added a more modern split bench seat
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

A good electronic ignition would be a good addition.
