4.56 gear wow whats your top speed in that thing? mine will only get to a little over 100mph with 3.70 well thats what it says on the tag.

Where did you pick up your gear shift lever and handle? That is much cooler than the old ball with the numbers on it.

It will pull 100 mph in the 1/4 mile, so that's good enough for me. With those little 3 1/2" front runners I don't like to push it. It's pretty heavy on the nose and even with a swaybar it's very hard to get around corners, especially with a full spool out back. The rear tires are 28x12.5 M/T.
The shifter handle is a gennie Chrysler piston grip I got back in early 80's at a swap meet for $15. Can't recall what body style, A, B, what? It was a pretty long one, so I had to cut a few inches off the bottom and redrill the mounting holes. I still have the cutoff piece to reassemble if need be. It's very comfortable to drive as it's just at the right spot. To buy that shifter these days would set you back a few hundred bucks. I think you can get repops now too.
