What are these rubber inserts in disc brake arms?

yes the calipers i just sent fireguy. had all of those parts on them they are spacers and springs for the pads. the springs hook into the pads to help keep them in place and from rattling.

So once I've got the new bushings, does anybody know how to remove the old ones? Are they easy to pry out or does a machine shop need to press them out?

Received NAPA 82116A and they came exactly as pictured in the NAPA photo.

Then I spent about ten minutes trying to get the old bushings out. They seemed to be completely fused in to the disc brake arms, and my attempts were just shredding them up.

So I took them to the local machine shop; they had the whole job complete in about an hour and they look great!



They messed up the paint around the bushings a little, but they warned me that it'd do that. No big deal.

I ordered some rebuilt calipers and they came with these bushings--but only half as many as I would have needed! They came with two per caliper instead of four, and they included some bushings that I don't think are used on Bumpsides in the kit.
