Shock mounts

Post by Fordfool »

I was wondering what if any newer truck shock mounts will work on my 4 wheel drive.

Something like this, but a shock mount instead of a motor mount

Do you have a 9"? I am not real possitve, but that should work if you have the same rearend. Does your shocks mount to that or on a bracket off the axle tube. Next problem is to find the right shock length if the mounting is different.

The axle tubes are different O.D. widths on other rearend types. That makes the u-bolt holes in the pad different.
