New to the forum
Hey all,
Found out about this site from a friend on another board. Stopped by and decided to register.
I've been into Rancheros for too many years,(10 of them so far since 1973)and I'm fixing one up for our son. It was my daily driver, so the wife bought me a truck to replace it.
It's a '67 longbed Ranger, has a 302/3 on the tree, headers with dual flowmaster exhaust, Eddie manifold and carb, disk brakes in front, and some half rusty wheels with 265/50X15 tires.
It had a rust hole in the driver's floor about pie pan sized, but otherwie was the most solid truck I've seen in years,(I'm from PA. and Md. previously). I added some captain's chairs I got on E-bay for $5.00 for the pair, and a steering wheel from one of my parts Rancheros, and hooked the stereo up so it worked. It's wearing 9 cans of light blue spray paint from Wally World too! The linkage is already jamming up, so I'm replacing the tranny with a 3 spd. + OD and a floor shifter this week.
Here's some pics:
