New from Chattanooga - '70 F100
I just purchased a 1970 F100 and I've already learned a lot about this truck just from using this website. Thanks for all the hardwork.

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Welcome from Virginia. Nice bump you got there. I think you'll find answers to most all your questions here. Just ask and you'll get an answer. Keep us posted.
Oh, and if bump confuses you like it has some newbies, it is nickname for these trucks due to the raised "bump" shape on the truck's side.

Re: New from Chattanooga - '70 F100
Thanks! I've been wanting one for awhile. This one actually turned up just 3 miles from my house. As soon as I saw it, I just knew I had to buy it. The condition of the body sold it. It's a 302 with a 3-speed on the column. Right now, my plan is to just make it road worthy. I've already put in a new clutch and TOB. It still needs a new shift tube (won't shift sometimes), a new steering box and tires to at least get it on the road. After that, I've got to decide how I'm going to approach the project. I want to do a full resto/custom job but not really setup to do it right now. However, I want to add some new wheels right now but again I think I may need to do the disc brake conversion first. But, since I need new tires I might as well get new wheels. Decisions, decisons.... Fortunately, it's just a project and not my primary transportation. Thanks again for your help!
