re: winne disk brakes
Well you may have to dig into that a little deeper. Ford stopped using the straight axle after the 1966 model year on the one ton chassis. You may have a 1 1/2 ton chassis if it is a straight axle, or some weird combination of International chassis with a ford engine. Remember that these chassis might have actually been a couple years old when they finally got used and titled. Getting the right chassis parts for those motorhomes was frusterating back when and can't be any easier now.
Keep an eye oput for the newer delivery vans as a good parts source. Some of the P series Chevys had a straight axle and 4 wheel disc brakes back in the late 70s.
If your motor home is actually a one ton chassis (16 or 16.5 wheels) then you might try and find a front axle from an internationa one ton of the later vintage as they had that set-up, althopugh I'd imagine things like new rotors would be nearly inpossible to find.

Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
