I am gathering parts to put the disc brakes on my pickup this winter.
I think I have everything needed except for the master cylinder.
The axles, rotors, and most parts are '75. When I looked up masters there are three different ones listed for non-power brakes.
1974, 1975 and 1976 to 1979 each have their own part number.
Can anyone steer me straight? Thanks The Minnesota Old Timer

re: master cylinders
Sorry I don't have an answer. I do know that the lines come out on the opposite side for the '73+ pickups. Also some had different size fittings but don't know their applications. I would think any mc for non-power discs with a 1.00" bore should work.
There's another thing to watch for. Starting in '73, the F100 (and later F150) had a lower brake pedal. Don't know how that will affect backfitting it to your truck but check it out, you might need the later brake pedal?

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."
