What's the best high-temp paint for brake parts?

Post by robroy »

Good morning,

I'm guessing that lots of the parts around my disc brakes get pretty hot. What paint would you folks recommend for the parts in this photo?

I would use RustBullet and BlackShell like I used for my suspension parts but I think these brake items get too hot for those paints.

Thanks!

The only thing that would get hot enough to require hi-temp paint would be the rotors....and you obviously can't paint them anyway. The spindle, caliper and bracket, dust shields, etc. don't get hot enough to burn off regular automotive paint.

I painted mine in Rustoleum Gloss Black Automotive paint (red and white can).
Now, if I could just find time to get them installed.........
