Changing my grille

Post by Joshpow »

I am getting ready to mount my 69 grille in my 72. I have the correct filler panel on the way. I need to know if the 72 fenders have all the right mounting holes for the grille already drilled. If not, which ones are missing? I'm sure someone else has already done this and can answer my questions. I just need to know before I tear it apart.

Hey JoshPow,

I believe that there is one hole on each side that needs to be drilled to use all the bolt holes in the '69 grille...
I have never done that swap before so I'm not sure exactly where the new holes need to be.

I was thinking there was one missing near the parklight, but I'm not sure. Thanks for the answer though.
