HOW DOEs the grill come off. rivets??

found a perfect grill i could get 129 on ebay for and the dam thing i think has riviets does it?>?

ok i got it.i shoulda paid more attention to your title.No the grill should be attached by bolts. If you need what bolts to take out they are all in the front of the fenders and in the inner fenders.if you get up in the between the wheel and the fender you will see them. hope that helps you out.

bolts. that would be alot of rivets. big ones too.



you can see the bolts through the grill too.

ha ha ha.yeah but i was warning about the ones on the fenders which are alot harder to see if at all at times.

usually under a slab of mud too. i couldnt figure out why the grill on the 69 wouldnt come off after i got what i thought was all the bolts under the inner fender. finally knocked the mud off and found a couple more bolts :D

I was takin the grille off Jeanne and i didnt see the very bottom bolts. when i finally found them i was so tired with messin with them i cut them off and was done with it.

wouldnt it be easier to unbolt them? unless they were rusted on.

oh yeah just about every single frickin bolt on that truck is rusted. I get so aggravated sometimes i just take the grinder and go to town. to bolts or parts i dont need.Like i had a donor column that was so smashed up i just cut through the housing.

nothin like a hot wrench to make short work of those bolts. lol. just be sure you don't need the fenders.
