grrr what a pain
I was mocking up one of my inner fenders. i went to un bolt it from the cowl and one of the square nuts on the other side of the cowl wall started spinning. now i cant get it off.
i unbolted the inner from it so it wouldn't cause anymore trouble when i try to get it off. how can i get to that nut???

oh man that happens alot to me. stupid old U nut things. they always break
i usually resort to a sawzall (how do you spell that
) or if possible i grab the nut with pliers or you can try to jamb then nut on something or pull on the bolt while you ratchet on it to try to keep the nut from moving

You'll have to remove the inner fresh-air vent on the side kickpanel and reach up. Just remove the cage (use some ViceGrips) and use a regular nut/bolt.

If it was one that was spot welded on try to drill a hole on both sides of it then spot it back on with a mig.
