Thank you!!

That sounds like a good deal to me. If he can greyhound them for $35 that would be sweet.

No problem.

He seemed like the kinda guy that would go a little out of his way to kelp you. I wish Greyhound would run freight up here.

Thanks.

I have feelers out for some of the trucking companies I use, I am a shipping tech at work and deal with a lot of truckers, but they are not owners, they work for a company. I'll just see what they say.

just for the hell of it I ran the dimensions for a pair with my FedEx account and got a quote of $175. Funny thing is I tried it shipping from CT and from WA. Both were the same price to Eagle River :?

See, that's the problem. Everyone is telling me that that is too high a price for the freight, but I am at the mercy of the shipper on that one. Even if the shipping price came down to $175, that means the total would be over $300 and for that price, I can get them local. Kinda like being between a rock and a hard place. I'm just gonna have to get the chisel out and work on that rock for a while.

Thanks everyone for your ideas and thoughts.

Thats for a pair, and he said they would be in pretty good shape and no major rust, only surface rust. It's kinda hard to get away from "some" rust up here.

Im kinda thinkin if they are solid they are probably worth it. I priced inners down her and it was 225 a peice for them then again they were new. You might be better off purchasing those and taking the rust off and coating them with a rust prevention product.

Yeah, that's my thought at this point. I just need to get out when I get home from work on the 8th and take a look at the condition they are in.
