Need Help with a body gap.
Ok here is the deal I'm picking up a new bed for my F100 next week. I have recieved lots of pics from the owner of the bed. In one of the pics It shows that when the rear tailgate is up there is a gap between the tailgate and the body. Look at the picture below. I have spoken with the owner and he can not figure out why it is like that. He says nothing looks bent. From all the pics of the area that he has sent I cant see whats causing it. Anyone have any Ideas?

i know that alot of desert offroad race trucks, all the wanna be's take their tailgate off (and then the call it an offroad truck
) and there bed's always do that. the tailgate supports the whole rear. keeps the bedsides together. ive seen many pictures of that. usually ALOT worse, but thats because they offroad abuse them.
must of been ran with no tailgate or the tailgate down or something

im sure it could be fixed. maybe put a ratchet strap on that side going to the other side and increase the intensity of the strap every once in a while, im sure it will slowly bend back. just an idea
let him know that there is definately a problem and he should drop the price unless he allready dropped it because of that.
