I just noticed, we have the same floor mats and almost the same seat...at least the wear marks are close to the same.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.

Just wondering - why bother with one of the 460s if that engine is sound and tight?

Yeah I know. You usually cant find'em around here too. But the guy was alittle desperate for the money.
As for the 460 swap, Im not swappn it just yet. The s.b. runs too good to ditch it yet. But its like they say, You cant just beat cubic inches. Plus Ive got 3 of them. Id hate to see them go to waist. I havent totally decided to the swap. I might stay small block if I could find a good windsor. Ive got alot to do on the suspension and brakes, and moving the fuel tank to the back before I dig into the eng.

Youre right the truck is a 71. The previous owner changed the grill.
