ford 69 with Grilled and rear different

Post by MARTINFIERRO100 »

I have already presented good as befits, then told him that the differences seen in the photos of this ford pick up 69.

First a little history of the beginnings of the F100 in argentina

In 1959 goes to market the first F-100 argentina known as "La Loba" which is assembled at the plant in La Boca.
The first thing that occurred in the plant Gral. Pacheco, in 1961, was a V8 engine that was mounted on an F-100 plant in La Boca.

In April 1964 Ford F-100 is beginning to produce in Pacheco.
In 1966 Ford F-100 is the first pick-up in offering the independent front suspension system thereby eliminating the rigid axle. What made him a great comfort without sacrificing strength.

In 1968 renewing the style of the line. At the same time extending the range offering version Ford F-100 Deluxe, the first bi-tone market.

In 1970 begins the era of diesel engines and Ford F-100 offers a 4-cylinder engine 75-hp V8 engine adding to the already offered.

In 1973, Ford makes the maximum possible product demonstration and one of the most remembered Commercial de la historia argentina, awarded in the Hall of Fame Clio Awards. A Ford F-100 is thrown from a Hercules aircraft in motion, providing clear evidence of the robustness and durability of this pick up. That same unit was donated by Ford to the Air Force Argentina and continued to offer their services for years.

This link will leave an advertisement that was made by the 50 anniversary of ford in Argentina.

What I could find out who is in Argentina this model is manufactured 68'al 73´, but in usa 67´al 72´.

I leave them some pictures on the back of my truck buy them to see differences in the headlights and also on the tailgate of the box, which I have not placed but soon upload a photo of him.

And if the door of the box is different looks this photo of another truck

And also there is a question
argentina occurred in the two versions and the deluxe common with V8 engines, and 6-cylinder diesel engine.
but were manufactured using the model ranger, custom, etc.

ooooo i like the hidden lights behind the grill. wish i could do that with a 69 grill but the 69 girll has thick bars that would block the light.

that video you linked is one of my favorite videos. i love the bumpside that goes over the whoops section and stuff :D

so in argentina the f100 got the tailights from the late 50's early 60's U.S. Design and the gate was sculpted to match.

Check out the tail gate hinges.. they're the old style too...

I like the way the tail lights and bed are sculpted in...
It looks like custom frenching...

Wonder why they capped the back of the box with unibody parts. Looks pretty good.
