Hi...my name is Rob....and I am a Bumpsideaholic..

Post by roblrobl »

Hello from Saskatchewan Canada.

I have being ogling this site for the past week and all I can say is WOW! Thanks to the powers that be for this place and all of the technical resources it brings. I grew up with these trucks and thought I knew quite a bit aboot them(I typed aboot on purpose because the other forums I am on think that is how Canucks talk anyway Eh.)

I have an ongoing 68 Merc project and a 68 Ford that was an everyday driver up until last year. I have atleast 8 of the 67-72 trucks in my yard plus a couple at my brothers place and I don't even know how many dentsides.

Just wanted to say Hi and I will try get a bunch of pics on here in the next little while. Thanks for having me.

Hi Rob...

I too am a bumpsideaholic...
Welcome to the best bump addiction support group in the world...
While we may never be healed completely from our addiction, we still seek perfection and seek to spread the news that there is help to be found.
Many have grown weary of the pursuit, and have been temped from time to time to turn to the dark side... there is always hope...
never give up and bump perfection shall be yours...

I had a wise old Indian man tell me one of the greatest truths I have ever heard...
He said "Son, if you don't want fall... stay out of slippery places."
I will carry that truth with me until my dying day...
Now, I pass that truth on to you... do with it what you will
I just wanted you to know... we're all here for ya man, we got yer back.

Hi Rob,
Keep coming back, it only gets better (worse). Wow you sure have me beat 8 of them. Are they all running or in various stages from running to good parts donor trucks.
