found out today a bed thats been on a truck with reg suspension in the back wont go on a truck that has flex o matic rear suspesion,,, thought id let ya know i learned the hard way

i think the crossmember may be notched on the box with the flex-o-matic springs to allow the futher travel of the flex part.
since both the 70 and 72 have the flex-o-matic's ill look at the 72 box tommorrow

steve c is right thats something i didnt know untill i changed beds i would just notch it out but im putting the reg leafs on it anyhow my flex system is worn out
