I'm on my second set of stainless steel brake lines. I ordered the wrong set the first time, but the right set has the same problem as the first ones (I accidently ordered disc brake ones)
My truck is a 72 long bed with power drums, and the problem is that the front frame to porp valve lines are too short like the poportioning valve is supposed to be mounted near the cross member, but mine is mounted to the driver frame rail behind the steering box and about even with the firewall.

Anyone think I should try a set for a 71?
Is my truck just an odd ball?
