Trying out pics... The only ones I could find on my comp of the '67 were from a local carshow last Fall. Sorry so crappy, but I can try to get some better ones later on.

LOL... well I guess I did it backwards then. We had a baby, then decided to get a house. But I had to sell my Lightning before I could handle the mortgage since I was still making car payments. Then I bought the '67 from a guy at work with some leftover money after paying off the L.

** I hope this doesn't mean that I'll be having a second baby sometime soon.... That would be big then...

[quote="fourtss"]welcome from the great midwest, sweet lookin bump ya got there, tell us bout the mods you want to do  quote]

Sorry, I was just reading thru the post again, and just realized I didn't answer the question about mods...

1 ...I need some tunes so I gotta put in a stereo system.

2 ...I definitely want to get some bigger wheels... I would like to see if the stock Gen2 SVT Lightning wheels would look good on there (I know I would need adaptors to make this work).
...If they don't look good, then I was thinkin maybe some nice 18" or 20"...haven't decided yet on chrome or black w/ machined lip.

3 ...I would like to shorten the steering column or put a new one in with tilt wheel cuz its kinda close for comfort...even tho I've gotten use to it.

4 ...I was thinking about getting the conversion kit for disc brakes. It seems kinda pricey, but I might need it if I get bigger wheels.

5 ...I would like to lower it a little more, or possibly bags down the road.

6 ...New paint job with brighter color (not worried right now cuz I like Silver)

7 ...Maybe a bigger fuel tank and different motor....but that would be way down the road....

Hey Frank, check out the technical papers on the home page. There is one on tilt columns and another on disc brakes. The front disc swap is common around here and uses common salvage yard parts.Price is pretty reasonable. :)
