The guy before had the hood sitting funky so I'm going to adjust and or remove these rubber things I know aren't ford.
Any advice or how it should sit?

Part of the rubber bumper is is ford looks like it has been shimmed. the hinges and or the inner fenders need to raised up. I would line the hood up with the cowl 1st then maybe the fenders to straighten out the gaps.

Chaseman, the hinges are adjustable where they bolt to the inner fenders.It looks like they need to come upward a bit.Loosen the rear hinge bolts first, the middle bolts, then the forward bolts.As you loosen the forward bolts the weight of the hood will start to pull the rear of the hinges upward.Snug the bolts and see check the alignment.Once it's level the gap to the cowl will likely be too big.The hood can be moved reward by loosening the bolts that hold the hood to the hinges.The hood can be slid forward or backward.
