My reward

Post by price2757 »

Hi. I'm new to the forum after stumbling onto FORDification.com. Today I am celebrating the start of my 3rd month as a former smoker. As a reward and as a way to keep busy instead of smoking I picked up a POS 1972 F100 long bed. The money that used to go up in smoke is going to help me restore/repair/customize a truck. It's something I've always wanted to do but never seemed to have time and having just crested over the half century mark I figured I'd better get started.
I will admit that this will be a learning experience for me. I know a little and can figure out some, but...It'll be a learning experience. In fact, I wish to say thanks to the moderator. I have learned so much from his website and I carry a list with me of what other year truck parts will work on my '72.
Now if the Western WA summer ever gets here. The rain hasn't warmed up yet

Welcome from sunny California!

I hope that 'POS' stands for 'Pretty Old School' - cuz we all have a soft spot in our hearts for these old trucks!

You'll have a great distraction to keep you busy. It's a valiant undertaking, and I hope you're successful (at both the truck and the quitting smoking!)

Post up some pix of the truck when you can.
