Look like generic replacement shocks.

Not the best and not the worst.

I wouldn't spend very much on them myself considering you can get decent Monroe's for about 20 bucks each.

At least here in SD they are that price, not sure about the rest of you guys.

So what would be a good shock to get for ('72 shortbed 2wd 360) normal driving occasional towing and wont break my wallet. I dont want junk but I dont want/need Ranchos or Edelbrocks right now.

For me I just buy the truck series of Monroe's and call it good.

They seem to work about the best and I haven't had any problems with them.


I have heard that the best riding shocks are Bilsteen but they are also quite pricey.

I agree Monroe makes a good quality for the average user at a reasonable price.

Monroes are great shocks for what the want for them.

Those are made by Gabriel. I have had Gabriels on vehicles in the past and never had any problems with them.
For $10.99 a pair I'd jump on them, if I didn't already have the shocks I plan on using (made by Gabriel). :D
