Hey guys.. season warming up nice, besides this week and a half of rain.. but its beginning to look like spring has sprung and that means its time to get ready to work on my truck bed. I'm hoping that some of you guys can help me out. I am looking for some custom ideas for my bed. Right now I got two short beds. One the driver side quarter is trashed butthe rest of the bed is in decent condition. The other, the sides are good but the floor and a few places around the tailgate support is rusty. I would have to definately replace the floor section were the ribbed floor ends towards the tail gate at least 4 inches back the whole width. Ive been debating wether or not to just repair it with the good parts of the floor from the bed with the bad side.. or totally replace the floor with Diamond plate or wood. If I go that route Id like to see some other ides that I can incorperate into the floor, and the inside of the bedsides. I'm also thinking about relocating the gas tank to the back between the frame rails and I do like the way Marz has the filler door. I really dont want to come up through the floor as I will use the truck to haul my bobber and other bikes and will have to get to the gastank. Any ideas are welcome.. and pics would help a whole lot

Pipes--Just a thought here---for your filler neck location. If you can find someone to part with one of these

It will allow you to come up through the floor in front or behind wheel well
and out the side of the box and protect it---Like so

As far as your floor(Sky's the Limit)I got nothin for ya--Had to patch mine
and overlaped for welding---figured it would be stronger instead of butt weld.

There are a million spot welds on the bed floor--PITA-IMO--to replace whole thing--And the peice I patched with came out of the center(straight)
and I had to notch and roll the ends over to weld to make it look right

Thanks 67 I really have no idea what I want.. well I have a few.. but.. I want to see as much as I can before I make a choice..gotta get this truck back together and painted.. so hopefully I'll make up my mind soon
