Bed Bolts

I was looking for the source of the banging every time I hit a bump ( not the 67-72 kind ) and found all 6 bed bolts loose by about the same amount. Like maybe they may of had spacers or something at one time. About an 1/8 of an inch. Is that the problem or what. Since they were loose, I went ahead and got my bed lined back up with the cab.
Which brings up another question. How much of a gap should be between the cab and the bed at the front corners of the bed ?
