Thank you fordman for the column adjustment tip. By following your tip (and going ahead and lubing the bearing both upper and lower), I have the gap closed between the wheel and the column. My next step is to get this 4412 Holley jetted correctly and installed.
Chevy has left me stuck far from home, Ford has never failed, they've always brought me home.
