Welcome from Louisiana!

We're glad you are here. Nice looking truck...I like the 69 grill best, good choice.

:fr: Welcome from your neighbor in MT! :fr:

I like the idea of parting your '69 out to us ;) Let me know if you are interested in doing something like that because I need a few things...

Hello and welcome from the south western part of the state! Looks like you've got one nice truck to be built from two. Don't scrap anything until you talk to all these guys first! I hate to see good parts get crushed! Good luck and have fun with your truck. :D

I sure want to thank you guys for the warm welcome and also say that this is a great forum and resource for folks owning old Ford pickups.

I'm not a Ford fanatic, but I really enjoy the older stuff compared to the computerized stuff on the market today.

I ended up with the old 69 two wheel drive F100 a couple of years ago, boght it for $500 bucks and it had set in a friends yard for 12 years after he became to ill to drive it.

It had a new rebuilt 240 six in it and When it started burning oil I figured that it stuck some rings. I bought a newer 300 six from a friend that started rebuilding it, but went on to another project before he finished. It still needs put together.

A friend knew I was looking for a four wheel drive and gave the old 1970 3/4 ton highboy and other than replace a fender and the grill it is a great running old truck with a 360 in it.

I'm really looking forward to working on it this summer and sure found a great place to ask questions to help me do that. Thanks again.
