67-69, 70-72 hood differences

Post by 1971ford »

so i bought a nice 70,71, of 72 hood for my 1969. what do i have to do to make it correct?

i planned on just bondo'ing the trim holes shut, but im hearing something about different letter holes?
are the peg holes for the letteres different?

Don't use body filler to fill holes...filler is used to fill dents/dings, not holes. You need to weld holes up.

Well, unless you want to be redoing it a few years down the road, once the filler starts falling out. ;) And trust me, it will.
