Yep. Soak the bolts. I used PB blaster but only waited an hour or so...that was after I used the cheater tube on the end of the ratched and sheared one of the top fender bolt heads off! :evil: The rest of it popped out when I removed the fender.

Just a heads up...probably because it was my first time, I had to remove the headlight and bucket to access a nut on the front side of the rad support. Better luck to you.

Just follow what's been said here especially with soaking the threads with some Liquid Wrench or equivalent or at least some WD-40 a couple days before the work begins and again the day before. It shouldn't take you even close to two hours for a fender if your truck is fairly clean and not rusted too bad. I had mine off and a different fender back on in about 30 minutes but the bolts had been off just months earlier and I ran a tap through all the nuts and clips, a die over all of the bolts, and installed EVERY one of my front clip's bolts with some anti-seize (very nice!!!). Kaptn's got it down pretty well. The only thing I'd add would be to loosen the radiator core support mount on the side you're working on so you can get just a little fudging room when replacing the inner fender. You shouldn't have to remove the grille, bumper, valance, etc. unless you break some of the welded nuts in the core support or some of the threaded clips. I've now pulled about 3-4 pairs at the wrecking yard.
Not a bad idea with using the hoist but I'd also recommend chocking the hoist's wheels with little rocks as you don't want to move it around and damage the other hood hinge left in place!
It's really not too bad of a job and it'll help you get to know your truck a little better! :D The whole front clip is LOADED with bolts whereas other parts like the bed just have a handful holding everything in place. Good luck and have fun!
