In 1968, Ford conducted a two-phase endurance/evaluation test of their F-series pickups.
- Phase I consisted of a 3,500-mile trip from Florida to the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.
- Phase Two consisted of assembling 21 Ford and Chevrolet truck owners from across the nation for the " '68 Better Ideas Pickup Owners Panel", taking them on a 130-mile cross-country run through Texas, and then evaluating the results.
Each Phase got their own 4-page brochure, both of which were just scanned and posted.

All three of these go hand-in-hand with each other...I just finally got around to getting these last two up for you.
