question about lower front shock mount

Post by kevs250 »

You guys think I can pry the rivets off with a chisle and hammer?
Im talking about the shock mount mounted to the radius arm, and I need one fast. I installed a shock mount from a later model ford and the holes dont line up
my friend and I welded the mount on several times but the weld doesnt mend the two metals. :x

the hard part about it will be the angles to get to the rivets. cutting them off with a chisel will be enough if it wasnt for the angles. but it can be done i think. are you sure you got the shock mount on there right and from the same side of the donor truck.?
