What are the best shocks???

Ok guys, I want to know you opinions on what shocks would be best for my setup. I have a '69 F100 short bed. I just restored it and it has a pretty stout 390 in it. I've noticed that my shocks seem to rock and sway quite a bit around corners and when I shift gears, I realize this is a 40 year old truck but I'd like to upgrade to some good shocks. I'm going to put a front sway bar on next week and I think this will help a little bit. I never tow and never have a load in the truck. It's just to race around town in. I replaced the front coil springs about a year ago so I know those are in good shape. What do you all think?

any good gas shock should work good. monroe, gabriel, kyb, etc. i do hear alot of bad about ranchos, but that's from the 4x4 crowd mostly.

i havwe ranchero on my silveradeo i hate them it is one of the roughest rides ever....on my 67 i put a simple set of gas shocks from monrow from auto zone...so much better than what was one there ...of course anything is better than 3 super stiff shocks and one shock that was shot to pieces almost literly
