New guy with body issues

Post by MattyG79 »

I was wondering if anyone knows of either an online site, or if you are in the Washington State area, a place nearby that deals primarily in Ford Truck body panel sales. Specifically for a 1972 Ford F100. I have looked online, but I must be looking in the wrong areas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if the place sells for a very decent price that would be awesome, I am military and do not make much at all, so I am on a very limited budget. Thanks again. Oh yeah.... :fr:

Welcome! I think that every bump in WA state is on this site. Someone on this site is probably your best bet for finding body panels in your area. Check out the Parts Wanted forum!

Welcome again!

Hey Bonnie_72_F100...

Actually only about 1 in 10 bump owbers, that I have talked to, had even heard of Fordification...
I told every one of them about our little online bump world, and have handed out several cards...
I don't know if any have joined us as a result...

Hey Matty,
What are ya lookin' for?
I know where there are a few bumps with some pretty good sheet metal.
Most of the rest of the good stuff is gone... :D
(I only got what I needed)

With all of the '72 f100's I have to drop my 2 cents. The steel in our trucks is something to be proud of. If you can repair a panel, then go that route. I looked at AutoKrafters.com and they have the lower door and floor pan which I will be making use of shortly in my rebuild. I saw they also have fenders and hood parts. If you can cut out some rust and add a small piece the right way your truck will appreciate it. Good to connect to all you bump owners.
